MILLANO TRANSPORTTERMS & CONDITIONS

Terms & Conditions

Millano Transports Ltd · Last updated 16 October 2026

Please read before booking. These terms apply to courier and transport bookings. Your written booking confirmation will set out the agreed service, price, collection and delivery details.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to courier, transport, storage and removals services supplied by Millano Transports Ltd (“we”, “us”). A quote request is not a confirmed booking. A booking is accepted only when we confirm it in writing, including the service, collection and delivery details, availability and price. Any special arrangements agreed in writing form part of that booking.

Registered company name: Millano Transports Ltd. Company number: 16111800. Registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 32a Bank Close, Luton, England, LU4 9NX. VAT registration number: 486489621.

2. Services and service area

We offer same-day, urgent and next-day delivery using vans and Luton vans, with operations based in the London area and delivery coverage across the UK, including Scotland. Storage and removals are quoted separately on request. Every booking is subject to vehicle suitability, availability and agreement of the service details.

3. Quotes and prices

The website’s published starting rates include VAT:

Mileage is based on the collection-to-delivery journey; no separate mileage charge is added for the return journey. The online calculator is an estimate only. The price confirmed for the agreed booking takes account of the route and service details. Any additional charge must be explained and agreed before the booking is confirmed. Storage and removals are quoted separately and are not covered by these per-mile rates.

4. Booking information and customer responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate collection and delivery addresses or postcodes, contact details, dates and times, and a clear description of the goods, including size, weight and any special handling needs. Please tell us in advance about access restrictions, stairs, parking, waiting-time risks or other details that could affect the service. We will confirm whether the requested vehicle and service are suitable before accepting the booking. Additional work or costs arising from information that was missing or inaccurate will be discussed with you and agreed before we proceed.

Drivers can load and unload light items. For palletised goods, the collection and delivery locations must each arrange loading and unloading.

We may decline a request if we cannot safely or lawfully carry the goods, or if the vehicle or service is unsuitable. We do not accept unlawful, dangerous or prohibited goods, or goods that exceed the agreed vehicle’s size or weight capacity. Customers must not misdescribe goods or conceal hazards.

5. Payment

We accept the payment method agreed when the booking is confirmed. Where we agree to invoice a customer, the invoice is payable within 30 days of its date unless a different due date is stated in writing. Any deposit or advance payment requirement will be shown in the quote or booking confirmation. Please contact us promptly if you believe an invoice is incorrect.

6. Cancellations, refunds and changes

Customers should cancel by calling 07881 096413 or emailing info@millanotransport.co.uk as soon as possible.

If Millano Transports Ltd cancels a booking, the customer will not pay a cancellation fee and any amount paid for service not provided will be refunded. Contact us promptly if you need to change a booking; we will confirm whether the change affects the agreed price or timing before proceeding.

Consumer cancellation rights depend on the booking and how it was made. The statutory 14-day cancellation rules may not apply to transport of goods booked for a specific date or period. We will explain any applicable cancellation rights when required. Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

7. Delivery timing and delays

Same-day, urgent and next-day services depend on availability and the details agreed at booking. Delivery times are estimates unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed time in writing. If circumstances outside our reasonable control affect a collection or delivery, we will contact the customer using the details provided and discuss practical next steps. This does not remove any rights the customer has under applicable law.

8. Loading, goods, insurance and claims

Drivers can load and unload light items. For palletised goods, the collection and delivery locations must each arrange loading and unloading. Customers must describe the goods accurately and tell us about special handling, access or safety requirements before booking. Millano Transports Ltd does not hold Goods in Transit insurance for customers’ goods. Customers who want insurance for the goods themselves should arrange suitable cover. This does not exclude or restrict any responsibility or liability that we have under applicable law.

If goods appear lost or damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at info@millanotransport.co.uk or 07881 096413, with your booking reference and any relevant photographs or details. We will review the information and respond. This reporting request does not remove any legal rights or remedies.

We can consider transporting any goods that are lawful to carry, provided they are safe to transport and suitable for the agreed vehicle and service. We may refuse goods that are unlawful, unsafe, incorrectly described, or exceed the vehicle’s size or weight capacity. Customers should provide an accurate description of their items, including size and weight.

9. Storage and removals

Storage and removals are not covered by the per-mile courier rates above. Before this work begins, we will provide a separate written quote or booking confirmation covering the agreed scope, dates, charges, handling responsibilities, storage arrangements and any insurance terms that apply. No insurance cover for stored or moved goods is promised unless expressly confirmed in writing.

10. Questions and complaints

Contact us at info@millanotransport.co.uk or 07881 096413 with questions or complaints. Please include your name, booking details and a description of the issue. We will review it and respond using the contact information provided.

11. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protections in the customer’s country of residence apply. Consumers may bring proceedings in any court that has jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
